Assuming that this is related to your earlier post on the same subject ..My=
 only experience does involve a Nissan--1993 pickup manual trans..the manua=
l sez Clutch Pedal Height (amount of throw > how far the pedal travels from=
 top to bottom is 9,29 to 9.69 inches ...(227-327 mm)...the amount of "free=
 play" is listed as .039 to .059 inches (1-1.5 mm) essentially zero free pl=
ay...One would further assume that Smitty Conversion folks would have some =
sort of spec as regards to throw and free play...still sounds to me like th=
e clutch is dragging/not being fully disengaged...means input shaft still r=
otating ...
as a for instance, when engine off, car sitting can you select any/all gear=
s without binding or excessive force? ...
try this...start engine, depress clutch ..put ear on gear shift ...Noise? g=
ear rotation sounds?=C2=A0 Whining? ...all would indicate input shaft rotat=
ing ...

I don't want to show up at the Toyota parts counter only to be turned away =
for lack of a part number and am hoping someone might have it.
