If they were set up correctly with the shims and spacer, and tightened to
the correct torque before securing the castellated nut with a split pin,
there should be no need to re-torque them.

I changed the front bearings on my BJ8 about 500 miles ago. Do I need to
re-torc the nuts at some time soon or let it go?
