I just picked up some new (to me) competition
headers for my SBC. They have a 1/2 bung on top
of each collector, with what looks like an
anti-reversion valve similar to a pcv valve
mounted. I've seen this type of header run
before, but really have no idea how those
evacuation tubes are supposed to be hooked up.
With the valve already mounted in the collector,
I assume that a tube should be connected to each
valve cover, right? No PCV valve needed to hook
the tube to the valve cover? Just plumb it in
with a bushing of some type!
