My guess is that you and your quick reflexes are fine with that kind of
awning ... IF ... you roll it up when you leave your it for any length of
time.  I've noticed Tom Bryant always rolls his cover up and ties it against
one of the rails when he leaves his pit to run.  Wise guy!
