Tom,

Do yourself a favor and go buy a tube of Loctite PST Industrial grade Pipe
Sealant # 565. Use sparingly. It offers excellant lubricity, allows easier
assembly and prevents galling. I have never had a problem with this stuff on
metal...not for plastic!

As far as telfon tape goes...I would venture to say that 90% of the plumbers in
the world can't get it on corectly!

As An fittings go...stay away from Russell. I have had the blow apart. There is
a new company making AN fittings, Fragola Performance Systems. I just got setup
with them. The parent company is FK Produces, the company that makes rod-ends.
Everything they do is top shelf.
