Which brings up the question where can a guy get some 1/4" aluminum tubing??

Ok, I am buying some of the bits and pieces I need to plumb my fire safety
system. Is it acceptable to use braided hose from the fire bottle to the
hardlines which run into the engine compartment? These would be -4 AN size
fittings.
