They moved away from the really tiny wheels as the car reached maturity.
Those small wheels (they started on 10" ones) were tough on tires and they
didn't leave room for adequate- sized brake rotors & calipers.

Yeah, good concept, but those 13" wheels were its downfall. As the only
ones running them, not much incentive for tire companies to develop new
stuff. Sort of like the Tyrell six wheelers, orphans.

the Shadow. It was black,
very low, but it had a conventional driver/powertrain
