Lance, when I talked to MSD about their 44 amp mags that top fuel dragsters
use, the guy told me that only 1 amp made it to the spark plugs.(Still probably
leathal) I was interested in using a 44 on my car, and the guy said no way. He
told me they were only made for running in drag cars with a very short
duration. But he did tell me that their 20 amp mag would work OK for longer
distances, but I would have to send in the box so they could make a bigger heat
sink.
