Dont know what you mean!

 basically
Remove engine
Take engine apart 
Remove old crank and rods
fit new and reassemble

What else you do depends on what crank what rods etc etc. You 
cant do other than to use a 2 bearing crank on an M/D/J engine 

There is a LOT of fettling to be done usually to get the bigger rods 
to clear the block etc.
