Sorry for the non-TABC and non-vintage race content but it's still
concerns a T-series MG. I received the following from Mel Woerz from
whom I've bought a lot of parts via Ebay. Based on his descriptions in
those ads I'd have to give him an A+ for honesty...everything I've
received has been exactly as described (or better). As far as this
description goes I see a few missing items - grille shell, seats, and
instruments. Of course, there's a whole lot of other stuff there that
could be traded like he says.
I offered to pass this on for him to give it widest distribution - and
if any of you know anyone who might be interested in this, please pass
it along. Lets try and save another MG.

MG TF and Parts..Parts..Parts
Here is some info on the TF project car that
is available.
History: I started gathering the parts necessery to put a
TF together, about 1978. It was to be for my daughter, who
since then developed a medical problem the precludes her
from driving this type of car. SO... Here it is.
Below are some details... The list gets longer each day,
as I find more parts...
It will take a good sized U-Haul truck to carry all of
this..

The Frame is a 1250 TF, The sheet metal is for a 1500 TF.
Rolling frame: Frame TF #2450, . Has four disk wheels/tires
Has complete suspension ,
including the steering rack. The rear suspension has the
complete rear end installed. The frame is not rusty, the
paint looks pretty good..
Steering column available..
Drive shaft,, 2 ea..
Sheet metal: All four fenders, good condition,, some surface rust.
Running boards,, Same..
The four hood pieces,, Same..
Cowl,, Same..
Dash,, Same..
Doors,, Same..
Dash Panel, but not the instrument panel, (M456-905).
Front and rear splash aprons,, same..
Spare tire rack,, good condition.. plus a spare..
The Body tub sheet metal is not good, lots of rust,,
might be restored..Front pieces not too bad..
The only wood is in the doors..
Have the inside body brackets..
The Dashboard Trim Rail ( padded)..M449-180
At least three Side curtain frames..Model unknown..
Tub frames: Have them..
Gas tank: 2... Unknown models.
1 pair of Chrome gastank side panels
Fire wall: Looks like it is a TD..
Windshield wiper rack: Complete with cables and wheel box's..
Steering column: Steering wheel is not good..
Engine: Rebuilt in the early 80's... 1250cc XPAG,,
About 20 miles on it..
Has small oil pan, (Late oil pan available.),..
and late oil pump.
Complete cept for a clutch disk..
Starter and Generator.
Exhaust and Intake Manifolds.
Water pump with the thermostat housing, and pulley.
Will include specialized engine rebuild tools..
Transmission: TD/TF... Will open it up and do a peek and peer..
Seems to shift OK..
Spare Wheel,, 2 ea. that makes 6 total..
2 ea spare tire tubes..
Chrome: Strip, Hood Center.
Hood side strips.
Nuts, bolts , screws.. etc..
Bumper Hardware: Front backing bar and several backing springs..
plus several bad bumpers..
Other: Drive shaft tunnel cover..
Several Emerg. brake lever assemb's..

Extras,, Important items that could be used as trading material
to get the needed missing items.
TD Right front fender.
Engine blocks
2 Boxes of used piston, sorted and graded.
Front and rear Brake drums and backing plates,
(disc wheels)..
Front axles, TD/TF, disc wheels.
2 Gas tanks. 1 pair of chrome tank side plates
extra spare tire rack, complete.
Lots of chrome odds and ends.. like TD windshield
brackets..
Several Body/misc. Rubber kits, still good condition,
(have been stored inside, no sun or light)..
New exhaust pipe. several used pipes.
3 ea,,Hood side panels, TD (I think)
1 ea,,Left side hood top panel, may be TC
1 extra running board..
Radiators.
Flywheels.
Fuel pumps.. a bunch..
2 ea,, Rear ends, complete..
1 ea,, Alum, leather covered used steering wheel,
Good condition..
Lots of Misc Gaskets, including head gaskets..
A whole bunch of New and Used hardware,, nuts , bolts ,
brackets, etc,,etc..
And more.. Inventory is not complete ... yet...
AND EVERYTHING THAT IS LEFT IN THE GARAGE...
New or used, Large or small, dirty or clean..

I will be sending this list to the MG people in my e-mail address
