I tried to start my TD after it has sat for six months. When I attached
the battery the ignition light comes on and stays on. I also do not
have any headlights or panel lights. I did have to clean up the
points on the fuel pump but still can not get the car started. I also
observed, at least I think I did, that the fuel pump clicked a couple
times with the Key in the off position. Can someone offer a sequence for
checking out the problem?
