Here... wait a minute. Let me get into my suit. U-n-n-n-hh! Erp. Zip. There!

I remember around the end of February when someone kept sending messages
that consisted of "Call John Twist. He will solve your problems for you." I
started to wonder if it wasn't a build-up to an elaborate April Fool's joke
and just waited it out to see what would happen. So nothing happened and I
started discovering that Mr. Twist is considered by some to be a holy man.
Indeed, he is quite helpful and a great source of information. Now I've
started to see postings by Mr. Twist and it seems like a lot of them end
exactly the same:

"Much of this information is included in my TECHNICAL BOOK - 160+ pages of
pure MG for $16 postpaid! Join the NAMGBR! John Twist, University Motors"

There are now a fair amount of businesses here on the list and most of them,
it seems, are able to confine their advertisements to their signatures or
are able to do without them altogether. I have seen some others either
ignored or flamed for adverts in the body of the message. I have not seen
anyone slammed for an advert in their sig. Or am I experiencing a paradigm
shift? Is it okay for John and not okay for Vicky Brit?

>I think the above statement was made with the assumption that Mr Twist had
>some ulterior business motive in promoting his TECHNICAL BOOK; certainly
>this is not the case! John is only asking $16, POSTAGE PAID, for the book.

Where's Waldo? Calling an orange an apple does not make it an apple.
