About six months ago I bought my first MG: a 1978 MGB GT. The car is in pretty
good condition and it runs well. However, there are few problems I need to
sort
out and I hope that somebody can give me some advice. I should add that I'm a
newcomer to car repairs.

Erratic Indicators
------------------

Both left and right indicators flash erratically, sometimes sticking 'on'. The
pause between flashes varies, usually (but not always) speeding up if I rev the
engine. Left and right usually flash at different rates. The hazard warning
lights function correctly. Can anybody tell me how to fix this?

Noisy Clutch
------------

This is a recent problem and I suspect serious! After a journey involving
lots of gear changes, sometimes slightly depressing the clutch pedal causes a
grinding noise whether in neutral or in gear. When I fully depress the pedal
the noise stops. Other than this the clutch, gearbox and overdive function
perfectly. Usually the noise only occurs during the first inch or so of pedal
movement but occasionly I have to fully depress the clutch to stop the noise.
Has anyone got any ideas? Is it safe to continue driving?

Thanks in advance
