I've been told straight SAE 30 NON-detergent oil is the best choice.
Apparently, the detergent in regular oils can be harmful to the
syncros.  I do not know why, but I do know that most oil detergents
are designed to scrub ash, which you should not have much of in your
tranny, AFAIK.
