Cindy - If you move the front of the driver seat tracks approximately 2" to
the left and forward a touch,you will find that the MGB seats will advance
past the tranny hump and allow your dainty feet to reach the pedals
comfortably.  And don't be apologetic...5'1" is quite tall enough as long as
your feet reach the ground when you stand. No need to take "ludes for the
problem.
Another answer is a Miata with a hard top and a/c installed.
