Help! About to pull MGA engine...

I thought I was ready to pull the engine.  Maybe not.  Do I have to take 
up all the floorboards and drive shaft tunnel and remove the remote 
gearchange assembly first?  If it can be done otherwise, I'd rather, as 
I'm working in a very confined space.  Do I have any other options or is 
that the only way?
