Dennis,

I also have a '73 B. Occassionally the odometer stops when it rolling over a
big number (four or five digits). It is particularly easy to happen when the
trip odometer is also rolling over a big number at the same time. I can see
it try to move but it slips with a kind of "clicking" action.

I have gotten mine to continue by resetting the trip odometer so it is not
also rolling over a big number, only the tenth of a mile digit, otherwise you
can twist off the front bezel and glass and use the eraser on a pencil to
give the digits a push.
