Some time ago I saw a guestion on varying oil perssure go by but never saw an
answer. I was interested because at about 2500 t0 3000 rpm my pressure would
flutter between 40 and 60 psi. Below that range it would return to 60 and then
decrease with rpm.
This weekend I replaced the oil pressure relief valve and spring. No more
problem. I used the high pressure spring from Moss and my pressure is at 80 psi
as low as 1500 rpm.
