I would like to thank you for your quick help concerning my cooling system
problem. Yes,
you all were right, the water pump has gone bad. The bearing is the problem.
Someone
told me to look for puddles underneath the car. This guy was also right. This
morning
there was a puddle underneath the car. You guys out there must be real experts.

I removed the water pump three hours ago. It was quite easy even for a software
guy like
me.;-)
Living in a nice small town has a lot of advantages but if you are looking for
MG parts,
forget it. So I went to the supermarket bought a oldtimer mag, browsed through
it and
did several phone calls to find somebody who will mail me a new water pump. He
promised
me to have it mid next week.
Beautiful weather here in Germany. Sunny and in the 90s. The weekend starts and
I guess
it is time for bicycling.:-)
