There is another side to that coin.

Driving  our TD with no heater or defroster through Cornwall headed for 
 Land's End in a cold mist.  She is going through paper towels at a 
 great rate alternately drying the inside of the windshield and her 
 glasses.  He pulls over to the side of the road.  She asks why.  He 
 says because he wants to put the top and side screens on.  She says 
 she would rather leave them off so she can see the scenery.  He 
 tightens up the drawstrings on his hooded jacket and drives on.
