Re: MGB Burning Oil??

I used to have a Chevy Sprint that burned a quart of oil
every 200 mi. (no leaks), but ran like new and never
fouled the plugs. Never noticed any smoke in the 
exhaust either. How is this possible? (Sorry about the
non-LBC reference here.)
