The banjo type axle is a single cast housing that is completely smooth
and definitely one piece. Whereas the tube type axle has definite
structural lines.

I have seen a lot of threads going around about
different types of rear ends.
I have a 67 B, and it was made in time when the
changes where taken place between the two different types
of rear axles.

Can someone tell how I can tell if I have a banjo type or
a tube type of rear axle????

Thanks for all the help
