I also have had some front end clunking but I am pretty sure I know what it
is. I just have to fix it. When does your clunking occur? Mine tends to
happen starting or stopping. The problem is the kingpins, particularly the
left. I am fairly certain of the cause because I can apply grease to all
the kingpin fittings and the noise goes away for a while. The answer is
simply to rebuild. I'll get to it one of these days. (Been saying that for
two years now.)
