Try Kirk Racing 205-823-6025, They seem to be the only place I could find
that made a complete cage for a BGT, so maybe they know something about
what you want. BTW nice people and they do a lot of rollbars and cages.
If they say no then it probably is true. Let us know what you find out.!

Subject: Rollbar?

Hi there. Does anyone know if it is possible to fit a set of
'individual'
rollbars to a MGB? The sort that you generally see on AC Cobras (ie.
 not
the full bar ones that go across the entire bredth of the car, last the
little racing ones that stick up around behind each seat.). I was
talking
to a few places in Australia (Brisbane) but they all told me it was
immpossible because the support for it (that attachs to the floor) would
hit the rear spring hanger underneath the floor. I'm sure I've seen one
once...and it looked excellent. Does anyone have one of these rollbars?
Where did you get it?? I was considering getting one made up by a
rollbar
fabricator but even he told me that it wasn't possible!! Why can't the
rollbar just be attached slightly differently such that it misses the
spring hanger? I can't really afford it at the moment...but I was
wondering if it was worth me even dreaming about it! I don't mind the
full width bar ones but I prefer the little 'racey' rollbars. Thanks
alot
everyone! Tony Rayner. charayne@dingo.uq.oz.au
