Eric -  
        Maybe you made an typo or misunderstood.  MGCs were not made in 1956. 
They were made only in 1966 through 1969.  Only 9 'C roadsters were
built in 1966, 182 in 1967, 2596 in 1968 and 1757 in 1969.  Would he
possibly be wanting a 1956 MGA?
