Hi All,

I've developed a strange knocking sound in the front right of my 74B. It is
pretty loud. I know this because when I went to get an inspection sticker
the other day the meechanic could hear it as I drove up. Yes it passed. He
couldn't find the knock. OK I don't believe it's the wheel bearings, I know
the bushings need replacement, but so do others that I know and thier cars
don't knock! The alignment isn't to bad, the car will still go in a
realitively straight line (countour of the road allowed for) with out my
hands on the wheel! (in a parking lot at slow speed). So a friend suggests,
maybe a belt has worn through the inside of the tire!! Well anything is
possible right! I switch tires knock is still there. I notice when I'm
putting the origianl tire back on that the wheel doesn't turn passed a
certain point with out a lot of effort! So I pllay around with it and it
seems to bind up in one spot then turns freely. So I jack up the other side
of the car and that wheel turns just fine. So I think I've found the
problem: the wheel is binding on something. Now what could it be! I
recently replaced brake hoses, rebuilt my rear wheel cylindars and bleed the
whole system. I'm thinking that maybe I need to rebleed the system again?
Could there bee too much pressure in the lines that is causeing the brake on
that side to not release sufficiently? Could it just be that the rotor has
become warped somehow and needs replacement. Does anyone have any ideas?

Sorry I'm so long winded, my wife constantly accuses me of this,

Thanks in advance for any assistance,

Safety Fast!
