The only way that I have found to get the exact location of these leaks
is with a squeeze bottle and a compressed air hose. Just spray the
water in areas you suspect it is going from and use the air to confirm.
You need to make sure your drain hole in the fresh air cowl (between
the windscreen and the bonnet) is clear. There is a drain tube with a
bulbed end under car, left side and that is often clogged which would
cause the center under dash leak you discribed.
