Thanks for all the replies on products to use on the splines and the
threads! I have had time to scan them, but not to reply yet. (Busy lady, here!!)

I have found someone to sandblast and paint the "war" wheels. I think I'm
getting a good deal at $40 per wheel. Now for the "Public Opinion Poll
Question of the Day":

The general 'trend' is to paint the wheels silver. I'm thinking of going to
a light saddle tan color to blend with the interior, and the top-to-be.
Donna-Owner-Sister (DOS from here on out!) is adamant about a vinyl top. I
prefer Stayfast, but she won't hear of it, and the brownish color is too
taupe in shade to look good with the interior. Black is not an option...

Reasons:

1. I saw tan wheels on an MGA before and liked the look of them. Verrrrry
classy.

2. Painted silver wheels look like painted silver wheels! Not like chrome
wheels. OF COURSE, silver wheels are fine, but I wanted to do something
different!

Now...how big of an "LBC sin" am I committing by 'NOT' painting the wheels
silver?

(BTW, I was told by Mr. Twist to use 1976 Ford Granada Silver if I went with
silver....)

Now, I'll relax and wait for "incoming"!! ;-)

Thanks,

Carol
