leaky bmc/snow!

Two anamolous sightings today:

   1.  SNOW!  (in south mississippi)

   2.  a puddle of brake fluid (aka Lake Smellybad) on the floormat of my mgb

I already ordered a brake master cylinder repair kit, but how hard is it 
to remove the cylinder.  I replaced the clutch cylinder a few years ago, 
and I hated the whol experience.  any tips/caveats/suggestions?
