The only problem with GE Sealed Beam Halogens is that they burn out more
frequently than regular halogen bulbs. (This after many years experience
with them on a Honda CRX, then switching to Cibies.)

Instead of buying a bulb at $5.95, one has to buy the whole lamp at
anywhere from $10.95 to $19.95, then get the headlights aimed on top of
the cost of the bulb. It's also usually simpler to reach into the back
of a headlight and replace the bulb than it is to remove the surround,
then the headlight rim, then the whole lamp, then refit all of the
above.

The other consideration is light. The GE Sealed Beam Halogens throw off
about half as much light as a Cibie and in a very scattered pattern
compared with even the Z-beam.

But yous pays yer money....
