May I suggest that you make contact with the Cape Town Chapter of The MG Car
Club. I believe the rust problem in the Cape is noways as bad as in Durban with
the tropical salt air we have here, but you will need some form of proofing
until you can get round to the restoration. The members of the MG Club will be
able to give you advice on what is best for that area.
