Had a wonderful, 500 mile round trip this past weekend, top down all the
way. Wife and I went to south central Texas to visit her brother and
family. About 100 miles each way was on interstate, the rest was
secondary roads. Clear skies, temp dropped to light jacket needed after
sunset.

Everything green - lots of rain recently.
Oak trees covered with new, bright green leaves.
        Redbud trees covered in blooms.
Bluebonnets in full bloom covering the roadsides.
Orange Indian Paintbrushes mixed in with the Bluebonnets.
Beautiful Texas sunset - and the sky reflected in the fenders and
bonnet was something to see!
Wonderful aromas - Bluebonnets, wisteria vines, smoke from barbecue
stands!
Cool air in the little valleys between the hills.
Sunday night, heading back north - full moon on the right, comet
Hale-Bopp on the left.
        Stars up above.
        Full moon becoming eclipsed.

Great to be able to experience all this, and to think a guy at work
talking about his new Camry, how you can roll up the windows, and not
have to hear or smell anything from outside of the car....

Keep on keepin' on!
