I really don't think I should be in the advice business today but
since I had that very same model LBC and once suffered from the
same problem, I'll give it a go.

Unscrew the small phillips screw that holds the choke linkage to the
main jet tube. You may just have enough slack in the gas pipe to pull
the jet tube down. This frees the gas line for removal.

Using an ignition wrench (because they are quite small and come in all
those weird sizes) carefully loosen the union of the gas pipe to the
the float bowl. Remove the jet.

Clean it up then wrap the threads with one layer of teflon tape
(used for plumbing pipes). Sometimes the compression fit of how
the gas line fit into the union caused the gas line to split. The
technical term for this problem is *screwed*. If merely the union
is leaking at the threads, proceed.

Reinstall, tighten as much as you dare. It's a slow process.

Histroical Note: When I used to buy SU carb parts from Vicki
British, I noticed the jet tube in the rebuild kit was cheesy
plastic and tin while, if you order the jet tube separately,
you got the proper part with spring wire around the the gas
line. So I would order both and throw the one from the rebuild
kit away.
