Greetings MG enthusiasts, I recently purchased front and rear anti-sway
bars for my 76B from a gentleman in California. The bars were from a 77.
The front bar was easy to install, and , basically, self explanatory.
Before I purchased the bars, I studied about 12 books looking at
diagrams, photos etc to see how the rear bar was installed: no luck. I
took the gamble that when I had the rear bar in hand I could understand
it. Sadly, I must admit defeat. Do the later cars have additional
brackets and mounting points for the bar that the earlier ones do not
have? If this is so, is it a major operation to install the rear bar on
an earlier car? How is it done? Pending the replies from helpful folks
the bar will either be installed or posted for sale on this group. Thank
you for your assistance.
