Just to let you all know. I finally got the mirror in question from Moss.
And a day earlir than they said.

The whole thing started when the second of the $20 mirrors broke at the same
place; right behind the point where the mirror attatches to the stem. Pot
metal. Can't do anything about it. Ray McCrary suggested I try the spring
loaded mirrors. Huh? That's what the extra $20 is for. WHAN-N-N-G-G-G. Comes
right back into place. It's not round and I kind of got used to round, but
if it doesn't break in the time I've broken two round ones....
