I don't know if everybody else has a much trouble getting these cars
apart as I do, but it sure seems a lot harder than putting them back
together. I'm trying to change the rear oil seal in my 70B's transmission
but it doesn't seem to want to come out. My wonderful helping husband
has now torn the hell out of the old seal and I'm not sure what to do.
The old seal is made out of metal and felt. Is it best just take it to
someone who actually knows what they're doing before we really mess it up,
or have we all ready done that.
My car is coming out of the paint shop on Monday and I really wanted to
get it back together. There is a big MG Rallye in Glenwood Springs, CO
on Sat and I was really hoping to drive it.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
