Yeah, that's what I thought. On inspection, the solenoid is fine in the
'69CGT but the drive gear and bushings were shot in the starter. It is
still on the bench but I plan on getting it back together real soon now
(this weekend, latest).

On the otherhand, it could very well just be the solenoid. You'll only
know after it is bench tested.
