Well, I did a little testing, I hooked up my vaccuum pump and the
vaccuum advance unit works and holds vaccum (I can see the distributor
guts turn slightly when I get to about 10-12 in/hg3 and it holds
vaccuum, release the vaccuum and it moves back). I guess I'll go get
some vaccuum line and try it out. I haven't set the timing yet either.
When I get a timing light, I will be able to see if the mechanical
advance is working at higher rpm.
