This is the first time I've seen this method of 'cooling' discussed on the
list.
I came up with a similar idea in the spring, but was going to use rigid 4"
pipe and capture the wind from between/behind the seats, just above the
rear deck. I do like the idea of the dryer vent. It will collapse and stow,
too.
The real world of a Texas summer landed on me like a ton of bricks last
Tuesday! I have been reminded daily since then... Yesterday I drove into
San Antonio in 98-degree temps. Probably sounds worse than it really was.
Somehow, I managed to find several eeee-hah roads on the way back.
Interestingly, the dusty gravel roads didn't seem to bother me... must be
the Alaska practice! They were fun to drive and reminded me of similar
roads we traveled only a couple of short weeks ago. As long as I can relate
squiggly roads to cooler temps, I'll do OK with the summer. For practice,
I'm doing without air conditioning in the house, except for sleeping
quarters! ;-) [Cheap, too!]
