Sounds like it's running too rich, way too rich. Which means either
too much fuel, or two little air. Check that the carb(s) are adjusted
properly.

Idealy your plugs should be tan in color.

If, per chance, the carb checks out fine, you can try one heat range
hotter spark plugs.
