In my quest to end body leaks, I am going to purchase some sealant to seal
along under the windshield frame/body seal (new seal,, installed without
sealant), and the seams on the front wing/bulkhead. What is a good sealant
for this application? The fender seams in particular seem to require a low
viscosity material to get the sealant into the seam. RTVs or other similar
materials seem like they would likely bridge the gap, and make a mess of my
exterior without doing much in the way of sealing. I now know that this
should have been done prior to painting the car, but unfortunately was not.
Any suggestions are appreciated.
