Use a dial indicator to measure lift at the rocker and compare to spec. A
worn cam has less lift.

How do you tell if your cam is worn?

86 Mazda B2000

Timing, compression, carb all seem to check out.

Oil consumption only leaking on the driveway.

Power is flat...acceleration poor. All systems OK....original motor with
213000 miles and only top end rebuild and rebuilt carb.

suspect worn cam...any ideas. just old age perhaps?
