FWIW-

I have a Weber, and I like it.  I replaced the Z-S on my B, and have noted
a distinct improvement.  With proper setup the often complained about
off-idle flat spot can be eliminated.

I agree that the S.U.'s are still prefereable in terms of outright
performance (this assumes either carb(s) set-up properly, and in good
condition.  One major plus to the Weber - particularly for those concerned
about smog police (don't have that problem in MI).  The Weber with electic
choke now has a CARB #, making it a legal modification to post-smog B's and
Midgets!
