I didn't realize this was a State-Farm specific question. In that
case, I'll jump back in. I've had three pieces of auto glass
replaced in the last three years, and there was no deductible on any
of them. One was in South Carolina, and two were in Florida. I
don't know if the "antique" status had anything to do with it, since
my 'B' is my daily driver and is insured just the same as a new car.
(It's kind of hard to get special rates on a car that's driven 16,000
miles a year, is driven to work, and is parked outside.)
Given Rick's story, maybe State Farm USED to waive the deductible on
ALL of their cars in the past, but now only does so in states where
the law requires them this.
