Hello Blake,
Your problem may not be electrical now that you have checked/replaced most of
the usual culprits. Try this: remove all four spark plugs and compare the
appearance of #1 & 2 vs. 3 & 4. They probably will look much different which
will be caused by 1 & 2 not firing in a combustible atmosphere. This could
be caused by antifreeze getting into the combustion chamber through a blown
head gasket. To verify this, run a compression check on all four cylinders
with all the plugs removed. If 1 & 2 have a low reading, the gasket needs to
be replaced. Also, while the head is off for a new gasket, have the head
checked for flatness. It may need to be milled a bit to cure a warp in the
head. Also check all the head bolts. Some may need to be replaced if
stretched or broken. In replacing the head, observe proper torque readings
and tighten in the order prescribed in the manual.
Look at your oil on the dipstick. If it appears normal dirty or black, OK.
If it looks like a chocolate shake or muddy, don't run the engine any more.
This indicates antifreeze in the oil which will ruin every bearing in the
engine. Been there. Jim
