In regards to hooking things up. THe important thing is that the wire from
the coil to the distributor be correct. If the car is positie ground, then
the wire to the distributor comes from the positive side of the coil. If
negative ground, then it comes from the negative side of the coil. If you
hook it up wrong, the car will run but not as good. The spark has to come
from the center elctrode, and jump to the side elctrode to be correct. When
hooked up backwards, it jumps from the side elcetrode to the center, and is
less effective.
