The vent windows seals take about 45 minutes each from start to
finish. First remove the interior door trim. There are 5 bolts that hold
the vent window in. Two are at the top of the door right under the window,
two more are are reached from the edge of the door above the hinge. These
holes should be covered by plastic plugs. The last bolt is at the very
bottom of the door. Once all these bolts are removed the window will pull
straight up. To get it high enough to remove the seal you will need to
move the roll up window out of the way. It is not necessary to remove it
as the manual says. Near the outside edge at the bottom of the door(the
edge opposit the hinge side) you will find a bolt that holds the window
channel for the roll up window. Remove this bolt and slide the window
over. Next take the vent window and twist it slightly, this will dislodge
it from the roll up window. You should now be able to raise the vent
window enough to remove the old seal. It's a good idea to oil the little
spring at the bottom of the vent while it is up in the air.
