Speaking of Wedgies, saw a BMH Multi-Media CD ROM advertised as
featuring over 100 cars including stills, some videos and descriptions,
for UKP5, seemed too cheap. Bought one and it is described on the
case as a 'Multimedia Catalogue'. "Bit of a cheek" I thought "charging
a fiver for a shop catalogue", but it isn't. It seems to be a catalogue
of cars in the collection. The pics and videos are quite small, but
there is the 1972 MGB SSV, a couple of Alpine rallies featuring Healey
3000 and MGBs, and some TR7 advertising footage showing the car driving
into wedge-shaped garages. No sound on my PC but footage of Don Hayter
describing the desing of the MGB. How do I know what he was talking
about? Ah, I have seen the footage elsewhere *with* sound.
Unfortunately there is only a very simple contents page and no search
facilities, and it is forbidden to download or print images, but still
worth a fiver.
