Congratulations.,
If I understand what you have done, you have very effectively negated
the split cylinder feature of the M/C. Now if, and when, one circuit of
the system fails (split line, blown wheel cylinder, whatever), the other
will not be able to apply suffecient pressure to function. So instead of
having a modicum of brakes in that situation, you'll have none.
Before you undertake any further brake modifications, PLEASE, read a
good book on braking systems. A good start would be "The Brake Handbook"
by HP books. Explains in plain language how brakes work and the
functions of the various bits. Then goes on to explain some
modifications/changes for street and competion brakes.
