Hey Listers:
I have heard several versions of the new CA somg regs for '66 to '73
cars. I called two different DMV offices here in Northern CA yesterday.
Bottom line is that now cars from '66 to '73 are TOTALLY exempt from
smog regs. I recently had seen printed info that stated these cars
still required smog certs when the cars changed ownership.
Now this means we have all the reasons in the world to slip a Rover 3.5L
V8 into a MGB or a RX-7 engine into a 510!
